Meet Miron (14687)

Miron is handsome, tall lean, and outdoorsy. His wavy light brown hair frames his rectangular face with a square chin, bright blue eyes, fair skin, and a Roman nose. He has a distinctive, broad smile with full lips and a well-defined cupid’s bow. His style is relaxed and youthful, like his personality.

Miron earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies and an M.S. in Climate Science. He’s nothing if not precise in his pursuits, whether they are professional or pastime hobbies.  He can spend a morning debugging complex climate models with the same focused calm he brings to hand-carving a cedar canoe in his workshop. He stays active as a long-distance trail runner, soccer player, and climber. In his free time, he plays cello, enjoys folk music, hikes in the mountains, and sculpts clay figurines. Calm yet goofy, relaxed and optimistic, rejecting toxic masculinity, he describes himself as a people-pleaser and peacemaker with strong empathy and willpower. Ultimately, Miron wants to fight climate change by supporting communities facing environmental challenges. He’s a walking example of how science, art, craft, sport, and passion can coexist in one person who wants to leave the planet a little better than he found it.
